2022 Classes

This summer I will be teaching a number of classes ranging from beginner to intermediate level.

May 28th - 30th - Flameworking 2 ways at Snow Farm Craft in Williamsburg, MA - This is a multiday workshop where we will explore working with both borosilicate and soda lime glass. More details here


June 11th-12th - How Not to Burst Your Bubble: Hollow Sculpting in Boro at Salem Community College in Carneys Point, NJ - In this class we will cover the basics of hollow forming borosilicate glass to make figurative sculptures. This class with cover animal and human forms as well as the “rules of sculpture” to keep you from bursting your bubble. This is an intermediate level class, experience working with hollow glass is strongly recommended. For more details and registration click here


June 19th - 24th - Summer Flowers in Glass at Snow Farm Craft in Williamsburg, MA - This 5 day workshop will cover a variety of flower making techniques, each day we will build off the lessons from the previous day, moving through a range of techniques to build complex flower sculptures. August 8th- August 14th - Under Vacuum: Borosilicate Sculpting for Plasma Lighting at the Glass Axis in Columbus, OH - In this comprehensive course we will cover the ins and outs of borosilicate sculpting for use in plasma lighting. This class will cover the unique challenges presented when creating sculpture for plasma lighting, and class with cover both abstract and representational forms. This is an intermediate level course - no experience working with neon/plasma necessary but working with hollow glass tubing is required.
